Seeing the Light
On this planet, stained glass windows are generally reserved for places of worship, or such is my understanding. They seem to evoke images of cathedrals and other such buildings. So, all things considered, I suppose it not all that unlikely that someone has combined it with the Force.
While this is not the most artistically advanced piece of glasswork I have seen, I am quite touched by the portrayal of our Lord Vader. It is based off a child’s artwork, which makes it appealing enough, and as per the story, it was drawn after seeing the Rebel propaganda film. An adult friend received the resulting card and created this piece as a result.
More than thirty years later, this artwork is hanging in the original artist’s child’s room. Hopefully this next generation will see the Imperial truths as well. One can only hope.
